CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY GENERAL POLICY

The Company embraces responsible business ethics in its activities whose contribution to sustainable development is embodied in social responsibility principles and practices. These are based on the enactment of the ten principles based on human rights, labour standards, the environment, anti-corruption, basically drawn from the international network initiative of the Global Compact proposed by the United Nations.

The ten basic principles underpinning the Corporate Social Responsibility General Policy of the Company are as follows:

• 1. Supporting and respecting the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights within its sphere of influence.
• 2. Making sure that none of the companies of the group are complicit in human rights abuses.
• 3. Upholding the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
• 4. Not practicing or encouraging any form of forced and compulsory labour.
• 5. Rejecting any form of child labour.
• 6. Developing a favourable labour relations framework regarding equal opportunities and non discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
• 7. Upholding a precautionary approach that protects the environment.
• 8. Undertaking initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility in the sphere of action of the group companies.
• 9. Encouraging the development of environmentally friendly technologies in its processes.
• 10. Working against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery, fostering transparency and the rules of free market and free competition.
